Volunteer for a project

With the help of expert volunteers, we’re able to distribute our expertise and conduct global training sessions.

Volunteer for a project

The NNHF and its partners rely on a global network of expert volunteers to support our projects through training and knowledge sharing, both onsite and online.

In 2023 we worked with 35 volunteers and 14 hosting institutions from 19 countries spanning five continents. Watch the video to hear from some of the experts who have been impacting care together with our partners.

A Journey to Train on Point-of-Care Ultrasound for Haemophilia

Gain insights from Dr Brandon Hardesty and Fred Loeffler, volunteers from the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center, as they share about their rewarding experience delivering a training on the use of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) to healthcare professionals in India. In May 2023, they travelled to New Delhi to train medical professionals from across the country on how to use POCUS to detect bleeds and provide adequate care to people with haemophilia, as part of the project supported by NNHF in India.
