Novo Nordisk Foundation’s Chairmanship visits Kenyatta National Hospital

Novo Nordisk Foundation’s Chairman of the Board, Lars Rebien Sørensen, Vice Chair Lars Much, COO Søren Nedergaard, Senior Vice President Prof Flemming Konradsen, NNHF General Manager Denise Braendgaard, and President of Kenya Haemophilia Association Dr Kibet Shikuku visited Kenyatta National Hospital’s Haemophilia and Bleeding Disorders Clinic to discuss the project ‘Expanding access to blood disorders care in Eastern Africa’.

We are thankful for the productive discussions with Dr Kamuri and for the heart-warming interactions with patients. Our project partners highlighted the importance of The train-the-trainer approach is crucial in ensuring long-lasting impact. Thanks to generous support of the Novo Nordisk Foundation our partners are able to accelerate and expand access to haemophilia and blood disorders care in the region.
