Advocating with a regional voice

In Uganda, the strengthening of regional centres will bring blood disorders care closer to those who need it.

At an advocacy workshop in Kampala in September 2023, the team strategised on how to leverage these opportunities to advocate for increased government support for blood disorders care. A follow-up workshop in Nairobi in October saw all four project countries come together to devise a regional advocacy strategy leading to tangible improvements in care.
