Marieme Sy
Marieme joined Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation in May 2022 as a Project Coordinator for French- and Portuguese-speaking African countries.
Prior to joining the foundation, she has worked at Speak Up Africa, a Senegal based policy and advocacy action tank dedicated to increasing awareness for sustainable development in Africa, where she served as an Advocacy officer. Her mission focused mainly on resources mobilisation and increased involvement of the private sector in the fight against malaria in Senegal.
Marieme started her career at the IFC, a World Bank Group’s global development institution focused on the private sector in developing countries. There she concentrated on promoting and coordinating the institutions’ activities in Senegal, Mauritania, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau, and Cabo Verde.
Marieme holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Engineering. She is a Senegalese national based in Dakar, Senegal.
