Objectives

  • Improve patient management at 8 regional referral hospitals
  • Increase diagnosis rate from 5% to 8% through awareness raising among traditional leaders, public and medical teams
  • Register all people with bleeding disorders in an online registry
  • Achieve inclusion of haemophilia into the non-communicable diseases programme and budget
  • Improve diagnosis capacity in the North
  • Strengthen the haemophilia care unit in the North to improve patient management
  • Empower next generation of haemophilia community leaders
