Objectives

  • Establish coagulation laboratory facilities
  • Launch a country-wide awareness campaign
  • Organise a education camp for 150 people with haemophilia from all regions
  • Provide diagnosis, consultation and an opportunity to gather patient data

Achievements

  • Awareness campaign identified new people with haemophilia
  • Established haemostasis lab
  • 10 lab technicians trained
  • 49 new people with haemophilia diagnosed
  • 140 participants attended the patient camp
  • Established patient registry
