Objectives

  • Strengthen the Pakistan Haemophilia Patients Welfare Society and its chapters to excel their role
  • Increase the public and the awareness of people with haemophilia
  • Outreach for identification of new people with haemophilia
  • Develop centralised web-based national patients registry

Achievements

  • Reduced stigmatisation and increased self-esteem of people with haemophilia
  • Four patient camps educated people with haemophilia and their parents to improve their long-term health outcomes
  • A national web-based registry was created
  • The patient organisation increased its membership and organisational capacity
