Objectives

Capacity building haemophilia care programme for Pakistan – national project (extension of Pakistan 1 project to a national level)

One month master training program for 20 physicians and lab technicians from eight regions
Healthcare professionals education conducted in eight regions
Over 800 diagnosis confirmed (haemophilia+vWD)
1,200 people with haemophilia registered
Official publication of treatment guidelines for haemophilia and complications
Six posters and oral presentations at the Pakistan Society of Haematology in 2012 in Karachi and Islamabad + ISTH 2013
2 posters presentations at WFH Paris 2012 and manuscripts of six original articles will be submitted for publication

NNHF funds and supports projects in developing countries to improve access to care for people with haemophilia and allied bleeding disorders.
