Objectives

  • Education for people with haemophilia – development of educational material in Urdu for patient education
  • Disease awareness at authority level

Achievements

  • Six workshops with 735 participants including government officials and media representatives
  • Reaching 150 people with haemophilia and family members, 24 physicians, 10 nurses, 12 government officials and 16 media representatives
  • 6 educational booklets developed in Urdu – 2,000 copies of each printed and about a quarter distributed
