Objectives

  • Improving clinicians knowledge from across Nigeria and people with haemophilia’s capacity building in the South West region
  • Create national treatment guidelines
  • Improve knowledge amongst care givers from across Nigeria
  • Create awareness to general public
  • Run educational programme for people with haemophilia and families in South West Region

Achievements

  • Over 140 doctors and 100 nurses were trained during five training session across the country
  • The first treatment guidelines were developed
  • More than 400 people with haemophilia and their families were trained during five educational sessions
  • 3 awareness creation programmes on the local radio channels talking about haemophilia
