Objectives
- Improving clinicians knowledge from across Nigeria and people with haemophilia’s capacity building in the South West region
- Create national treatment guidelines
- Improve knowledge amongst care givers from across Nigeria
- Create awareness to general public
- Run educational programme for people with haemophilia and families in South West Region
Achievements
- Over 140 doctors and 100 nurses were trained during five training session across the country
- The first treatment guidelines were developed
- More than 400 people with haemophilia and their families were trained during five educational sessions
- 3 awareness creation programmes on the local radio channels talking about haemophilia
