Objectives
- Improve coagulation laboratory and train the staff to do diagnosis
- Train professionals in nursing, physiotherapy, dental care and medical training of people with haemophilia
- Create national treatment guidelines
- Provide educational sessions to people with haemophilia and families on haemophilia
- Strengthen the haemophilia care centre and the patient organisation
Achievements
- Improved coagulation laboratory and trained diagnosis technician from Blood Bank
- Use of media inviting people with haemophilia for free diagnosis with a reach of 1.7m people as audience
- 33 Multidisciplinary training with more than 200 healthcare professionals
- Development of an online registry
- Promoted haemophilia in universities with a reach of more than 200 students
- Advocacy activities leading to 8.5m UI FVIII
- Strengthened patient organisation
