Objectives

  • Strengthen capacity of the multidisciplinary care teams at 2 government referral hospitals in Kathmandu
  • Continue improving the level of care and diagnosis in the 7 main provincial hospitals
  • Increase the diagnosis rate from 25% to 33%
  • Sustain advocacy gains and increase budget allocation for people with haemophilia by 30%
  • Strengthen capacity of new board of patient organisation through an international collaboration and empowerment of the haemophilia community through workshops on self-management

    NNHF funds and supports projects in developing countries to improve access to care for people with haemophilia and allied bleeding disorders.
