Objectives
- Increase NHS local chapters knowledge on haemophilia and provide a structured approach to advocacy
- Support haemophilia care training for two doctors (one paediatrician and one general physician) from rural areas of each chapter
- Raise awareness amongst local government officials
Achievements
- The project builds on the WFH advocacy activities already conducted
- Increased healthcare professionals capacity building to enable improved care in rural areas
- Higher recognition by authorities and higher political support for haemophilia care
