Objectives
- Plan and execute the establishment of the Myanmar Haemophilia Patient’s Association
- Adapt and translate key training materials on haemophilia into Myanmar version
- Educate healthcare professionals in key centres and inform about the association and its role
- Create awareness amongst people with haemophilia and society about the association, haemophilia and provide guidance
- Prepare and execute application to become a WFH National Member Organisation
Achievements
- Advocating with government to register MHPA in Myanmar
- Adapt and translate key training materials on haemophilia into Myanmar version
- Prepare and execute application to become a WFH National Member Organisation
- 209 healthcare professionals were trained
- 155 people with haemophilia received education
- MHPA became an associate national member organisation of the WFH
