Objectives

  • Plan and execute the establishment of the Myanmar Haemophilia Patient’s Association
  • Adapt and translate key training materials on haemophilia into Myanmar version
  • Educate healthcare professionals in key centres and inform about the association and its role
  • Create awareness amongst people with haemophilia and society about the association, haemophilia and provide guidance
  • Prepare and execute application to become a WFH National Member Organisation

Achievements

  • Advocating with government to register MHPA in Myanmar
  • Adapt and translate key training materials on haemophilia into Myanmar version
  • Prepare and execute application to become a WFH National Member Organisation
  • 209 healthcare professionals were trained
  • 155 people with haemophilia received education
  • MHPA became an associate national member organisation of the WFH
