Objectives

  • Creation of a high level training centre for clinicians dedicated to the treatment of people with haemophilia in 2nd and 3rd level IMSS hospitals

Achievements

  • 1 physiatrist and 1 orthopaedist trained in Argentina
  • 7 manuals and training modules created focusing on the multidisciplinary care approach
  • Interactive website created to ease communication between healthcare professionals in the region
  • Training of 28 healthcare professionals from four states: Guerrero, Morelos, Querétaro and Chiapas
  • 2-3 follow up visits to three of the four states to create and implement multidisciplinary haemophilia clinics
  • 152 people with haemophilia registered in regional patient registry
