  • Establish the Kenyatta National Hospital Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre
  • Improve the diagnostic facilities and blood bank capacity
  • Create awareness by organising two World Haemophilia Day celebrations and continue lobbying with the media
  • Organise healthcare professionals training and academic symposia
  • Start the regional haemophilia care in two cities
  • Improve physiotherapy care in both KNH and MOI


  • Established national haemophilia network of healthcare professionals
  • Strengthened Kenyatta National Hospital haemophilia treatment centre
  • Established haemophilia treatment centre in Mombasa
  • Strengthened Kenya Haemophilia Association by establishment of the third chapter in Mombasa and established strategic plan
  • Increased diagnosis rate from 4% to 9%
