Objectives
- Improve the diagnosis accuracy in haemophilia
- Train healthcare professionals on haemophilia
- Organise educational workshops for people with haemophilia and their family members
- Create a national registry and treatment guidelines
- Raise awareness of bleeding disorders amongst the authorities and the general public
Achievements
- Quality diagnosis and care established in Jamaica becoming a reference for bleeding disorders in the Caribbean
- Strengthened collaboration and alignment between people with haemophilia and medical community for advocacy purposes
