Objectives
- Promotion of physiotherapy as prevention of disability amongst children and youth with haemophilia through physiotherapy camps
- Increase awareness about musculoskeletal (MSK) care for medical personnel
- Document the joint/muscle status – musculoskeletal assessment of all children and youth with haemophilia
- Raise awareness through press engagement and a documentary film
Achievements
- People with haemophilia and care givers understand better the importance of exercise and adherence to the treatment, as well as how to better cope with the condition
- 80 healthcare professionals trained in MSK
- Hold the first camp for children with haemophilia
- 101 people with haemophilia received MSK evaluations
