Objectives
- Build health care provides capacity in the national capital region
- Create the Delhi Haemophilia Group and organise a half-yearly scientific meeting
- Increase public awareness and information education and communication (IEC) activities
- Increase diagnostic capabilities and rate
- Create publications including haemophilia newsletters
- Develop a web-based regional electronic medical record system and patient forum
Achievements
- Multi-specialist training and awareness programme, reaching 3,150 participants
- 17,723 patients had their diagnosis confirmed
- An electronic records system was established to ensure quality follow-up and monitoring.
