Objectives

  • Build health care provides capacity in the national capital region
  • Create the Delhi Haemophilia Group and organise a half-yearly scientific meeting
  • Increase public awareness and information education and communication (IEC) activities
  • Increase diagnostic capabilities and rate
  • Create publications including haemophilia newsletters
  • Develop a web-based regional electronic medical record system and patient forum

Achievements

  • Multi-specialist training and awareness programme, reaching 3,150 participants
  • 17,723 patients had their diagnosis confirmed
  • An electronic records system was established to ensure quality follow-up and monitoring.
