Objectives

Select four city-level haemophilia centres in Nanchong, Luzhou, Dazhou and Ya’an
Set up multidisciplinary care and train the teams
Advance the capacity of factor activity detection and the usage of the registry system in the selected centres
Provide technical and patient support, and raise awareness through follow up visits, project specific meetings and World Haemophilia Day activities

In-depth training of trainers in Chengdu New Century Women’s and Children’s Hospital
Comprehensive care centres established in Nanchong, Luzhou, Dazhou and Ya’an and care network build up
Raising awareness through distribution of materials, training of district hospitals and strategic media engagement
19 education sessions across Sichuan Province, focusing on emergency treatment, how to live a healthy life and on proper home treatment and self-infusion

Regional training hub established, ensuring improved quality and standardisation of care
People with haemophilia receive quality care closer to their home and live a life with fewer complications
Diagnosis rate increased
