Objectives

  • Establish guidelines for musculoskeletal (MSK) care evaluation and treatment
  • Develop educative materials for people with haemophilia, their families and for healthcare professionals
  • Improve the Quality of Life (QoL) for people with haemophilia through improvements in their physical, mental and social well-being

Achievements

  • Built MSK expertise and the quality of multidisciplinary care
  • Developed guidelines for MSK care and incorporated validated internationally used MSK assessments into a computer-based registry
  • Support the development of MSK care beyond Brazil, the registry is now available in four languages
