Objectives:

  • Learn how to perform quality diagnosis for  haemophilia A, B and VWD with a focus on factor assays and inhibitor diagnosis
  • Learn technical details for different diagnosis techniques – from manual to using a semi-automated or automated coulometer 
  • Support the new haemophilia association to learn about how to build up a haemophilia registry 
  • Get familiar with the conceptualisation for and necessary steps to ensure the establishment of a laboratory for bleeding disorders with enhanced diagnostic processes for retesting of known patients as well as new cases
  • Assist doctors in planning of the care approach including treatment according to the given diagnostic information.
